Credentials

I am a licensed psychotherapist practicing in Bloomington, Minnesota. I hold two State of Minnesota mental health licenses – Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

I am also recognized as a Diplomate in Adlerian Psychology by the North American Society of Adlerian Psychology.

I am a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and hold certification from the National Board of Certified Counselors. I am also an Approved Clinical Supervisor for the Minnesota Boards of Behavioral Health and Therapy and Marriage and Family Therapy.

My areas of expertise include treatment of anxiety and depression, couples communication, parenting problems, and strengthening family resilience.

I received my PhD at Purdue University and MEd at the College of William and Mary. I did clinical training in Indiana, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. I also studied at the Dreikurs Summer Institute in Switzerland.

In addition to working as a mental health provider, I serve as Director of Clinical Licensing Programs and Adlerian Studies at the Adler Graduate School in Richfield, Minnesota. I teach courses in counseling, psychotherapy, and human development.
